All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre is a community-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees elected at the annual membership meeting held each September. Officers are likewise elected by the board during the annual membership meeting in September.

The AECT Board of Trustees has as many as 18 members serving in any given season. Members serve up to two consecutive three-year terms, and are elected by the AECT membership. The board meets once a month, on the second Tuesday of every month; board meetings are open to the membership (and board members are required to be members), so if you are a member you are free to sit in on a meeting or two and see if it’s right for you. If you are passionate about theatre and great youth organizations, we would love to have you! Look over this flyer for more details about board membership and contact the board to learn more about serving.
You may also want to consider joining a committee. You do not need to be a member or on the board to join a committee. Current committees are listed below, with each committee's abbreviation appearing after the names of its members in the list of trustees.

City of East Lansing Staff
The Artistic Director, Assistant Artistic Director, show Directors, Stage Managers, Crew Heads/Supervisors and Instructors are employed through the City of East Lansing Division of Parks, Recreation and Arts (ELPRA); they are not employed by or supervised by the AECT Board of Trustees. AECT executive board members, trustees, and committee members are volunteers.
