Where are they now?

It is not unusual for All-of-us Express Children's Theatre alumni to be recruited by other local theatre companies for their productions. Other past participants leave the world of theatre behind, but enjoy transferrable skills such as time management, working on a team, leadership, working through jitters and under pressure, and more.
Being a part of the AECT community taught me about leadership and how to work with kids. Stage management, working with kids on crews and on stage put me on the track to become a teacher. I am currently attending Lansing Community College pursuing a degree in teaching.

Recognizing Graduating Seniors

We value the relationships we have with our long-term youth participants and want them to have something to remember us by after they graduate. This white enamel pin with a vintage blue AECT logo will fit perfectly as the final addition to a collection of show pins.
  • Youth are eligible to receive a pin if they have participated in at least six shows during high school (over the course of four years) on either cast or crew.
  • Main stage productions, studio classes, and special events such as summer touring shows can all count toward the six required shows.
  • Crew participation must be on Guild Crews to count for a pin.
  • Pins will be distributed to eligible graduating seniors at the end of the Spring show run each year.
