World premier! Back in the mists of time, on an island known as England, a king died leaving no son to succeed him. Or so everyone thought. A wicked man claimed the throne with the help of a woman of evil magic and a darkness came to the land. The only ones left to rescue the throne were a wise man of good magic and a small, scrawny orphan boy. This is the story of the sinister ways of evil magic and the triumph of good. Written by Bill Helder and Evelyn Weymouth. Produced by All-of-us Express Children's Theatre in cooperation with Lansing's Riverwalk Theatre. Directed by Evelyn Weymouth, with casts and crews of local young people.

The sorceress Morgan le Fey, her husband Mordred, Young Arthur (with the sword, sitting on the stone), Merlin the sorcerer (was he ever young?) and Young Kay. This scene doesn't occur in the play. It's the kind of "we are so much cooler than cool" publicity shot common for shows, movies and theatrical productions you'd rather die than miss seeing. So make the healthy choice. It's easy! Buy a ticket and see Young King Arthur at Lansing's Riverwalk Theatre! These are but five of an absolutely awesome cast! You must see this show, you must meet the cast afterwards, you must obtain autographs. (Thanks to Morgan for helping write the previous sentence!) More photos are available in the gallery. Do not miss seeing this show! (Thank you, Merlin. No! Morgan, don't cast that spell! Be nice to the audience.) |
