Treasure Island

Treasure Island was performed February 6-7 & 13-14, 2004 in the auditorium of Kinawa Middle School in East Lansing. Directed by Genesis Garza with a cast of 18 young people ages 9 to 18 and a crew of young people who did everything from sell tickets to run lights.

This show was produced with the support of the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, Capital Region Community Foundation, Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, Meram Properties, LLC / Broder & Sachse, and Capital Area United Way.

[Billy Bones shows map to Jim Hawkins] Billy Bones, staying in the Admiral Benbow Inn, befriends the lad Jim Hawkins, eventually showing him the map of Treasure Island.
[Pirates toasting the adventure] It seems that the buried treasure belongs not to Billy Bones alone, but to the entire surviving crew of the notorious pirate, Captain Flint, who intend to get it back!
