Dragonsong

An adaptation by Irene Elliott of Anne McCaffrey's Dragonsong. Menolly is a gifted musician, but in her village girls do not become harpers. When Menolly creates a song, she receives harsh punishment for doing so and runs away. A dragonrider on patrol takes her to the dragonrider's village, where Menolly meets Tirolt, there from her own village for the upcoming dragon hatching. She encourages Tirolt in his desire to be a dragonrider, but begs him to keep her identity a secret so she won't be sent home.
