Board of Trustees |
All-of-us Express Children's Theatre (AECT) is a community-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees elected at the annual membership meeting held each September. Officers are elected by the Board during the annual membership meeting.
The All-of-us Express Children's Theatre program is part of the East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation and Arts. The theater program has an Artistic Director (Miranda Hartmann) who is paid through the city, as are show directors and crew heads. The total cost of the theater program (salaries + supplies + facility rental) is covered by participation fees + ticket sales + AECT (donors, fundraising, grants, memberships). The program is self-sustaining; i.e., the agreement is that AECT makes up the difference between program income and expenses.
